Help Was out for a bit...Help?

Hey, so I've been a tad busy lately and there seems to be a lot of new kernels/ROMs,etc that have come out...

I am currently running on the Vanilla ROM with what I believe is Vampirefo's 2.0.8 kernel.

My question is...Basically what is the best ROM/Kernel combo out right now? I was looking around on the SDX forums and I saw there was a Vampirefo 2.0.9.lv kernel available...Is that one good? I'd love to have more battery life.

Also I'm seeing a Ubuntdroid 5 beta 2. Is that any good?

Ubuntdroid is doing great atm. Problem is Puma v2 is the best kernel out there (If you ask most of us) and it's not compatible with Ubuntdroid. Joseph Mother is working this out, and it's kinda confusing since crUDkernel was the basis for Puma. Anyway, I'm stock with Puma until official Ubuntdroid release.
 
I am running Puma with Ubuntdroid beta 2 and have no problems that I'm aware of. Joseph Mother is already talking about beta 3 and new kernel goodies.
 
Are you using data2sd Puma v2? That's the one that's not working as far as I know, the normal kernel should be working great.
 
Puma V2 is my personal favorite kernel, but I'm running the Ubuntdroid Beta 2 ROM. Performance is slightly down from Beta 1, because there are some tweaks that need to be made to the ram for JIT to be running more smoothly.

Nope, the normal Puma v2 and it is working great. Best my phone has ever run.
