I bought an rv without nav so went to stereo store and bought a Pioneer Avh 4200 nex. The display using android auto is so washed out you can't read or see the display. On Pioneer forums this is a well known issue however Pioneer says it an Android Auto issue since google maps just displays what is transmitted. Everyone passes the buck but is there a work around? I'd love to use it but right now I feel like AA was a waste of money. Any suggestions appreciated.

Touch the gear onscreen and choose your view options
that would be too easy. Pioneer says the issue is the quality of the google maps they get from google. I've tried adjusting what I can but its a well know issue. I'm hoping someone from Google can explain some options.
And yet it works on virtually every other manufacturer's head units? I sense some buck passing going on here.
