Watch out for trash bins in London

You'd think there would be bigger things to worry about over there. Such as preventing disasters like the Fatberg from happening again.

There are also signs that change advertising to match whatever channel you have on the radio. I suppose they go by Genre or locality as you drive from one city to another.

I don't listen to the radio. I have a USB stick with songs I cut from CDs. The Player will put in the info about the track from an Iphone or Ipod, but not from a USB stick or a device like the Sandisk Sansa.

Let them figure that out.

I thought this was a new Grammar Nazi type thread and the OP was going to point out that we have rubbish bins not trash bins .. ;)

with all the cars that fly by.. how does it decide which car it markets too? and for how long?

Well I believe it samples and takes the most popular station being listened to at the time. As for length, I don't think it has to be for very long as I am sure they have several different ads ready to go. I still find it creepy.

To be honest - I don't look at billboards. I'm too busy watching out for road repair, closure, mowing ahead, you name it signs. Add to that potholes in the road and idiot drivers.

Would you have to have Wi-Fi on for this to work, or do I need to start turning mobile data off when I'm not using it now?
