water damage. Factory Reset?

So, a couple of days I asked you all what to do after I dropped my phone in the water. Put it on rice. Well, I did. But the screen is still dark blue tinted. Everything else works fine, but the screen is hard to see in bright lighting and almost impossible in sunlight.
I've tried to find apps to increase the brightness past 100%, there doesn't seem to be any. Any suggestions on how to do that?
Also, I've heard that doing a factory reset might make bring the screen settings back to normal and increase the brightness. Any truth in that?

Maybe if you edit the script of the phone but that's too dangerous but I wouldn't recommend a factory reset because the screen is damaged.oh the only way your going into the script is if your rooted and/or on a computer.
