Help Water in screen?

I dropped my mytouch in the sink yesterday. It was dried off, taken apart and sitting in rice asap but this morning there is still water under the screen. The image looks okay and there's no flashing like there was yesterday so it seems to be drying out but I'm wondering if there's more I can do. Would heat be bad for it? I have a sunlamp i can put it under but don't want to do so without knowing if it would hurt it and cause more damage.

The rice trick is supposed to be good. Whatever you do, don't turn the phone on until you are sure it's completely dry.

Dont use any heat, just leave it set for a few days. The BEST thing you can do it give it time to dry. The WORST thing you can do it try to turn it on before it's dry, which it sounds like you did.
