Help Way to remove screen lock pattern?

1. I set the screen security pattern (with the dots), but find it annoying and would like to undo it, but I can't seem to find a way to go back. This is a Vizio Vtab 8" tablet. I can create a new pattern, but that seems to be it, I can't find a way to get rid of it.

I had the same issue with my s3 but just found it finally.

With the Vtab honeycomb update, go to settings and under the location & security you'll see the option for lock screen. Then you can turn it off, use a pin/password, ect.. Hope that helps but may be different if you hadn't updated the device to honeycomb.

I had the same issue with my s3 but just found it finally.

Can you share what the secret magic trick is? I was just messing with the features but don't want to use it - now I'm stuck with the pattern option - really annoying.
