Help Way to turn off camera shutter?

I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find a way to turn off the shutter sound when you take a picture.

There isn't. But you can try Uva Silent Camera.

use a root explorer go to /system/media/audio/ui then mount rw
go to shutter.ogg and rename shutter.ogg.bak and shutter_multiple.ogg and do the same add .bak at the end

this worked on my rush are phones are close to the same

Turtle187 - Thanks! That worked to remove the shutter sound. I tried to use this on the auto-focus beep, but for whatever reason, the beep remains. (But at least no shutter sound, so that's good.)
