Help Weak wifi signal !

Hello

I own the i9000 about a week now

I noticed that the wifi reception is very bad compared with my iPhone 3GS(even in my house i have one bar;and i have to stick the phone to the router D-LINK to have full bars)

I want to know is it "normal" is it an individual problem or all the devices had the same issue ?

Is it related to hardware or software bug ?
Can this problem be solved with Froyo ?

I upgraded from a Galaxy Spica to a Galaxy S, earlier with the Spica I used to get a very good signal from my wirless modem, now in the exact same places, the Galaxy S struggles to get even one bar !! Very Dissapointing given the fact I paid more than twice the price for the Galaxy S compared to the Spica... :mad:
 
in fact i lose signal when i cover the phone(specially the back wheres the wifi antenna)with my hand or my finger specialy in panoramic mode(horizontal orientation)with two hands
sometimes i lose the signal because i hold my phone with two hands.
sorry for my bad english and i hope that you understand my problem and someone could help me

I have the Samsung Epic and its WiFi and 3G signals are weak compared to other phones on the same network. Maybe this is a bigger issue then just one of them. Maybe its all 4 phones.
 
Same for me. Got one a few days ago, and noticed this morning my 3G had used 10MB, simply because it had 'fallen off' the wifi. Never had this problem before with my previous (Nokia) phones...
