Weather map

I've dug through almost all the offerings on Play - does any weather app offer the standard map with the fronts and high and low pressure marked?

Getting close to winter and I'd rather keep track of the Albuquerque Low myself.

I can get it through the NWS online, but would like to have all the info in one app.

I have WB Elite. There is no map showing the highs, lows, and fronts. There are links to the actual NWS site, but none directly linking to this map. You need a map of the whole country for this. It's the same for the jet stream. I can get local wind, but if I want the general position of the jet stream, I need a national map. So far, the only thing I've seen is Accuweather videos of area forecasts. I don't want a video, I want a map.

This is the map I'd like:
http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/noaa/noaa.gif

I have to use the browser to get to it. I can also get all local info. Since that is the case, it sorta makes Weatherbug superfluous. I prefer Weatherbug's layout. I've used the NOAA app, but it still needs work.

I get headaches from low pressure.

Colorado has funny weather. We get thermal lows caused by mountains. A lot of the extreme Thunderstorms that wreak havoc are born here.

I've always enjoyed keeping track of where highs, lows, and the jet stream are.

The Weather Channel has the map on standard, but not on mobile.

I too would be interested in a weather app that shows isobars etc as I was at school at a time when they actually taught this stuff .... A "quick" search gives this one .... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mg.android&hl=en ... It's a bit confusing as to whether you need to pay for it BUT from their web site at ... WeatherPro: WeatherPro for Android - Additional Features ... there is the implication that the isobar bit is free.

You can only download it and try. I may give it a go later myself as, where I am in Cornwall (far SW of the UK), the weather forecast is invariably wrong and by having a chart available I can make a better stab of it myself!

I looked at WeatherPro. Says it doesn't do rooted phones. However, Play says it's available for the Nexus S. WeatherPro also said they would be adding more.

I don't do widgets.

Found an app with a workaround. Called Quick Weather. It has a connection to the Weather Underground's standard maps which you can't get in mobile form. All data maps are there. You can also choose Weatherbug and NWS.
