Hi,

I am using a Samsung note 3 non-rooted. The web browser app, chrome and play store do not work with the mobile data. It keeps saying proxy server error. However, whatsapp, mail Wikipedia all work with mobile data The only way to get the browser to work is to use wifi. I have included a screen shot of the app.

Any ideas why and how to fix it?

Is there a reason why your phone is set up to use a proxy?

Is this a carrier supplied, customized and branded S3, e.g. Sprint, and are you with that carrier. Because certain carrier phones are hard configured to use a carrier's proxy. And if you don't have a contract with that carrier, it can't get on the internet. Something like this has been reported before, with Sprint phones. It's to do with the MSL (Master Subsidy Lock).
