I was googling some things that I probably shouldn't have been googling so we won't go into detail but since I had a lot of tabs open I was getting the usual pop ups saying close tabs so I did but then another message popped up and before I could properly read it I closed it assuming it was another too many tabs warning. It started off saying "Your HTC Wildfire S" and that's all I saw before pressing okay. Is there anyone who can perhaps tell me what the message did/might have said because I was instantly scared it was a virus warning or something bad and since I login to check my bank accounts and things often I'm really worried I could have a virus. I scanned my phone with the antivirus on my laptop and it came up with nothing but I'm still worried. Any help would be amazing.

If you have antivirus on your phone you should be ok, i use lookout on mine.

If you want to be really sure install malwarebytes from the playstore, there is a free version.

In general android is resistant to viruses as it has its roots in linux, it becomes more imperitive to have antivirus installed if you are rooted.

If the worst comes to teh worst, a factory reset should clear out any nasties, or you could re-flash the stock RUU. see the all things root sub-forum for more details.

in any case, back-up your data, and virus-check the backup on your computer, just to be sure.
