Hi everyone =D! I'm new to android forums and forum posting in general. I have a general idea about my mobile phone and not too much indepth knowledge.So yeah, just bear with me.
Phone Model: HTC Desire
Basically, I've been getting the "Web page not available" error on my inbuilt internet browser (and any other browser for the matter) when trying to access a web page (fb, which is my most visited website). Once it even gave the same error for google home page.
This has happened only recently, when I installed some new apps for the Google Market - Whatsapp, Horoscope Plus and Link2SD (wasn't useful as I have an unrooted phone, didn't understand it much either!)
I tried to clear history, cache etc etc. Restarted the phone and still no luck. I also unistalled the apps listed above with no luck. Also, I've tried browsers like opera mobile and mini, dolphin, skyfire etc with the same error.
I ended up going to the Wiressless and connections settings to "Forget" my router and remember it again. This solved the issue temporarily for less than a day. But again today, I still get the same error.
I think it's something to do with proxy, because im able to access it using a proxy website called: hide my a**
> The thing is, I don't even know stuff about 'proxies'? Just used to see ppl in school days use it for watching videos on youtube.
Please help me solve this issue because its really been bugging me !
