Help web pages dissapearing

Hi all. I'm running froyo on my un-rooted htc desire hd but have noticed that after a while ny extra web pages get deleted from the browser, i like to look at a few different pages through the day but am only left with 1 which gets quite annoying having to then go into my history to find the right page.
Am I doing something stupid or is there a problem?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say, "..extra web pages."

If the history tab contains links to pages you've visited, it is functioning as it should (obviously). So I'm thinking that you mean, when you use the "back" key to go to previously viewed web pages, they are not there.

If that is the case, go into the browser settings menu and make sure that it is configured for that feature. I don't know which browser you're using, so I can't give you a menu path, but I'll bet that if you explore in there you'll find the setting you need.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using the standard browser thatvcame with the desire hd, guessing it's their own or either googles. Anyway, when I press menu can open up more windows so can have up to 4 webpages open at the same time, however if I go back to the main home screen on my dhd then come back into the web browser later 3 of the web pages will no longer be there, but they are if i go back after about 5 minutes.

hope this was a bit more understandable
