Help Web pages do not always load right

Satires

Android Expert
Has this been happening to you? I run dolphin HD browser exclusively on every phone I have had (Android), and since switching to the rezound, I noticed web pages don't always load properly. Either the page gets loaded half @ssed or images are missing and I have to reload the page.

sometimes I get pages that don't load correctly and I'm using the stock browser with 4G LTE. I wonder if it's related to the strength of the data connection. How fast is your data connection?

I got a solid connection, about 14 down and 7 up. I don't recall going through this with the Thunderbolt though. (Shruggs) :)

How often does this happen? It hasn't happened too often for me.

I haven't kept track. but often enough to create a thread about it! lol

I wonder if by so chance the unique screen resolution has something to do with it? I have a live wall paper that doesn't fare well with this phone as well...

Yes! I get boxes with the "x" for pics frequently. Reload and its fine.

Also in dolphin, editing text sucks!

Yeah, I reload the pages. :) I think editing sucks on any mobile device! lol I put the cursor where i want it, pop up the keyboard and POOF! Tha cursor gets moved somewhere completely different! lol

I have Dolphin hd (earlier version, since the data mining scare), and dont have any freezes or half loads. Have you cleared all cache and temp files? Im sure this was already suggested. Sorrry for repeating if it was.

Actually, I have it set up to clear the cache and the history each time I exit dolphin. :)

As for data mining? I think that was the entire idea of the web from the get go and why smartphones, especially androids are handed out like candy dirt cheap! lol

Yes, mine is set for delete on close too. But sometimes I have to go to apps menu settings, locate and manually clear cache there too.

We may be talking about two different things or I chose the wrong word "data mining"
im speaking of dolphin got reported for taking browsing history wheter we deleted cache or not and selling to some service... This isnt the practice webwide from the get go

Cool! I'll give your suggestion a shot, thanks :)

I haven't heard the dolphin thing, I'll see if I can find it. What i meant about data mining is just my personal philosophy. My mind is set by default to believe what ever we do on the web, someone else knows. ;)

All right, this getting highly annoying! I keep having to refresh every other page for it to load correctly! Doesn't this defeat the purpose of 4g? I would have gotten the same amount of work done with my droid x. I may go for root and see what happens. Other than that, I may switch back to my droid x. :(

^maybe try the Opera Mobile browser - it works nicely on mine. If we go into the browser's (Opera's) - Setting - Advanced - Adobe Flash and set it to "Click to play" or "Disabled" we can get rid of that pesky Radio Shake banner at the bottom of each page on this website here:D

Thanks, I will try that. I did try the built in browser, problem is, when responding to comments on wordpress, I can't see what I'm typing.... :(
