Web Top App, HDMI Dock

I bought a HDMI cord and connected my Razr to my TV. I was expecting to be able to use Web Top, but found out I have to buy an accessory called HD Dock or HDMI Dock. I found 2, the standard dock and a premium dock for $60 and $100. What are the differences between them, and do they both allow me to connect a mouse and non-Bluetooth keyboard to them?

I also found one for $30 but it says its not compatible with my device. I do not want to spend a lot of money on this dock. Which dock should I buy to use Web Top?

i have the premium dock (DROID RAZR MAXX HD Station). It has 3 usb ports along with a micro HDMI port. Works great if you want to connect a keyboard and mouse via usb. The cheaper version does not have the capability, however, you could connect using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Since I had an extra usb mouse and keyboard I chose the more expensive version.

I also have the more expensive one, called the HD Station. I had read (not sure if its true or not) that connecting both a mouse and a keyboard by bluetooth at the same time could cause some issues, so I connect a Motorola Wireless Keyboard via bluetooth and a wireless mouse via a 2.4GHz wireless USB dongle in the back of the HD Station.

I probably would not have purchased the more expensive one, but I got it plus a car dock for $40 total off of eBay so I couldn't pass it up.

Check eBay and Amazon.com for the HD Station, and you might find it quite a bit cheaper, if you have a little patience. And if it says its for the RAZR, it also works with the MAXX. My MAXX with a Verizon TPU case fits in both the HD Station and the Car Dock perfectly.

Good Luck!

Can I connect any normal wireless USB keyboard and mouse through the dock, like the same ones I an using on my laptop? Or do I have to use Motorola devices only?

Any wired usb mouse or keyboard will work. Don't know about wireless ones.

I've got the HD Station and the Motorola Bluetooth Keyboard with Touch Pad. Works great for using the Web Top app. The only thing I've noticed that I don't like so far is if I am using both the Motorola Elite Sliver Bluetooth headset and the Motorola Bluetooth Keyboard with Touch Pad at the same time the Touch Pad becomes a major pain in the rear to use. Other than that, both are great items.
