Help Website changing automatically

Hey guys Im on Android 7.1 and have I guess a virus when using Google Chrome.

Lets say Im on a website, forum or whatever my phone automatically goes to another site, like an add popup but its a web address. It does it randomly like every 5-10 minutes when browsing.

Ive tried a few anti-virus but they seem more like junk cleaners, ram management, web site protection but are doing nothing for my problem.

I just need a few good programs to run to get rid of this thing. Chrome is updated, cleared cache in settings, reboot, etc.

You should probably also go to settings>apps>chrome and force stop it. Then go to storage and clear app data as well. Reboot. You probably have a malicious cookie or redirect.

Thanks for the replies. Busy with work and Ill try both sources right now. Im also going to try chrome beta to see if its limited to the app itself or a phone wide issue
