Hello,

my WeChat App logged out by itself. After logging in again - all stored data (messages, videos, voice messages, pictures, icons) were gone. Like a fresh installation of WeChat.

I checked the WeChat root folder ( \tencent\MicroMsg\b7f0d977..... \*.* ) and all data is still stored there. WeChat simply doesn't recognize the stored data anymore. How can I force WeChat to recognize my files again? I didn't update the APP / Phone or anything, which could have caused this issue.

I have a ASUS PadFone 2 with 64GB (integrated) - no SD Card

Thank you in advance!

I think the folder name, b7f0d977..., might be related to your WeChat id.
So, if it seems that you have a fresh installation now, you must have a new folder, some like b7f0d977..., in root folder.
If it is true, why not to have a try to copy all files and folders in b7f0d977 and overwrite your new id folder with them? You should logout wechat to perform this.
Just for your reference. Good luck to you.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, WeChat didn't create an second private folder.

When I drag all folders to a different device I was able to restore custom .gifs, but no conversations/pictures/voice messages. Do you have any ideas how I can restore the remaining data, or at least how I can force WeChat to display my business conversations?
