Help Weird Android Wear Play Store Glitch

Looks like it wants to open but keeps "rebooting" (not the device, but the app tries to open) correct?

Did you just get the Android 2.0 wear update and then this occurred ?

What about a watch reboot? (power off, then on again)
 
What watch is that? I'd have to fire up my Huawei watch to see if there is an option to go into the apps, choose the PlayStore app and clear the cache and data or something like that. Not sure if that can be done on the watch itself though.
 
Wear24. I have already done that. It doesn't change anything. There might be another way of doing it? I did it in the watch.
 
Hmm, you can do it on the device that is paired with your watch, but I don't think that will have an effect on the watch.

Unless someone knows of a better solution, I can only think to factory reset the watch, pair it with your device and see if that helps.
 
I just got the November security patch on my watch (Fossil Q Explorist) but it's got Wear 2.1 and the play store works fine after the update. I think Mike's suggestion is probably the least frustrating fix.
 
How would I do it in the device paired with the watch? I have also factory reset the watch already, and the problem still persisted. I am actually running Android Wear 2.0.0.151212853. I don't have any available updates. I was going to try to do the trick to get the wearos update by uninstalling it in the play store on the watch.
 
ok...so you cleared the cache and data from the PlayStore on your watch....
Do the same thing with the Google Play Services app and Google Services Framework on your watch.
You may have to sign back into google after that, but worth a try.
 
Umm... I think I updated to wearOS, i have all the features, but it still says Android Wear 2.17.0.217437364. Play store, when i open it, just repeats the green spining logo, but not the blue one from the video i posted. Should I try what I did earlier with deleting data and cache of the three apps you suggested earlier?

Is your watch connected/paired with your phone?
Is your watch connected to wifi?
 
Is the PlayStore the only app on your watch that you have this issue with?

Does the PlayStore open fine on your phone?

If yes to both questions, try doing what you did earlier with those 3 apps...the clearing of cache and data, then reboot again.

By the way, just so I'm clear...when you earlier stated that it worked, did the PlayStore open then?
