When I send an email to myself from my GMail account, using the Mail app (not the GMail app), when I receive the email, it has my name and email address concatenated together multiple times in the From address, ie:
Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith (billsmith@gmail.com; billsmith@gmail.com; billsmith@gmail.com; billsmith@gmail.com; billsmith@gmail.com; billsmith@gmail.com)
(repeated 6 times)
One important note is, the message contains my email signature twice:
Sent from Samsung Mobile
Sent from Samsung Mobile
So, my guess would be that this email is perhaps the result of some sort of an auto-forward to myself, of emails sent by myself.
Under account settings, always cc/bcc myself, I have selected "None".
I have a hotmail account set up as well, and if I send an email (from my GMail account) to the hotmail account, that account receives 2 emails, one from Billsmith, and one from Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith; Billsmith (with the double footer)
Anyone have any idea what could be causing this??
