I am running 2.3 on an HD2. I was using a MyTouch previously. When I entered my Gmail info in the HD2, it imported my contacts. I reset the MyTouch and sold it. Noticed in the next few days that some of the contacts didn't transfer.
These contacts were not in my GMail contacts so I assumed they were lost and I had to send some E-mails or whatever to have them send me their numbers. No big deal.
I got a text from a friend today who is not in my contacts list on the phone or GMail, bit his name appeared on the text instead of an unknown phone number. I looked again at my contacts list and GMail contacts. He isn't in either place.
Any ideas about where these "lost" contacts are on my phone?
