So I got my Droid Razr today and attempted to add my university email acc. I messed up the first time so I just deleted it and attempted to start over again. However the second time around, it wouldn't let me add the account and gives me an error, saying that "this account has already been added". I clearly deleted the account, and I'm pretty sure of this because it no longer appears under accounts. Any ideas?

I had the same thing. Had to reset the phone. Sucked to set it back up again but fixed the email issue.

After I removed an account, it wouldn't recognize my login as correct, when adding it back, until I logged into the account from another source (logged in from a web interface).

Click settings> applications> manage applications> ALL> scroll down to email and email accounts and clear data and cache on both> reboot phone> now you can redo your email settings. If you screw up rinse and repeat.
Worked for me multiple times.
It will not delete any emails you may have already downloaded, it just resets your settings.
