Help Weird Google login issue

:confused:Got a weird problem on my SG2 today. In my notification bar is a notice that Google login failed. It asks me to reenter my password. I do, and it tells me it failed again. But the password is correct and when I tell it to sync my accounts (by going into Settings/Accounts & Sync) it works fine.

At first I thought someone hacked my Google account and changed my password. A check of the computer shows everything is fine. I have one of those hard to break passwords that's calculated to take a billion years to crack.

What should I do to get rid of this error? Reboot phone, clear my Google login and try fresh, etc?

I had the exact same issue today, but it went away after awhile on its own. I don't know what causes it or what resolved it. Sort of comforting to know I'm not the only one who experienced this.

I'm getting the same message. At first I thought it was some sort of phishing ad or something due to all the apps I've been downloading last couple of days, but checking al Google mail and + accounts showed I was fine and logged in.

I can clear it out of my notifications but it comes back after awhile.

Same issue here...the only way for me to get rid of it is reboot the phone...after reboot it keeps coming back in a few hours...started yesterday. WTF! Like you guys I checked my loging on computer my password hasn't been compromised.

After googling it...it appears something may be amiss with Google+...I've uninstalled it and will report back every few hours...
