so I took the plunge, because of the soon-coming upgrade that might wipe out root function for a while.
I rooted, set up recovery, made a nandroid and then installed bugless beast 0.7.5 and then bought setcpu and temp monitor and root explorer.
It may just be me but not only do I see no real improvement (set my profiles in setcpu) but I actually see it hang up from time to time. After a phone call the screen will go black for 1 or 2 seconds and then the call log screen will appear. Hardly 800mhz style if I'm reading everyone's experiences correctly.
Should I do a complete nandroid style recovery? Will this be a better install than just using the update.zip?
