Weird issue with my Esteem

So last night i was heading to bed. I normally use my Esteem throughout the day and it needs to be charged at night. So I went to plug it in and it wouldnt charge. I tried two different USB cables and still wouldnt charge. So I plugged it into my computer and nothing. So im thinking, WTF is going on here? I ended up rebooting my phone and this time it started charging. Anybody else have that happen to theirs?
 
this happened t o me once i just rebooted and everthing was fine this did happen when i got the extended battery
 
I think that happened to me twice with the reg battery as well, but turning the phone off then plugging in and it started charging, then while charging, turned on with no further problems.
 
This use to happen to my evo. If you pull the battery out for about a minute it'll work. I highly recommend the app battery calibrator.
