Weird link not working on android phones?

[ChandravadanR]

I bought an android phone galaxy ace, after some days my friend shared a link on whatsapp in a group saying its a funny video. When i opened it my browser got closed! I reopened it this time my phone got off! I asked in group letter, all of them said my phone got off. How come? Doesnt android supports such links of video? Is it solvable?
