weird lock screen error

hey guys, so i just picked up a galaxy s2 for att today (i used to have a shit ass iphone) but after i set up the password lock, i noticed that the phone doesn't always ask for the password when i unlock the screen... is anyone else having this issue? and before i got this phone, i saw that the international version could lock the screen while watching something on youtube by pressing the power button, but that doesn't seem to work on my phone either... help??

What I've noticed is that when it falls asleep (you don't turn it off) then it doesn't require a password. Also, it can do that when you close it with an app running.

so... is there a way to fix this so that it always asks a password?

It's in there, just go through the settings again, cause I have the same phone (AT&T S2). I can't check how to set it up right now cause my phone's charging, but I have it to set show lock screen everytime the phone turns on (that includes boot, backlight time-out)

It's a bug. It's not fixable.
