Weird problem unresponsive screen!

Sometimes the buttons and short cuts for the apps light up when touched but nothing happens. Sometimes some will work and other don't. The lock screen will just pop up. I'm using ADW. The location of the buttons on the screen isn't the problem on one page one will work on the next page same location different app won't. It doesn't seem to matter if it's connected to the computer or the hardwired charging system I put in but seems to happen more when I use that one. But once I disconnect it and restart the phone the problem continues. I pulled the battery and left it out for over 30 minutes also.

Not sure what ADW is, but if it's a ROM, you could try going back to the original set up.

Alternative wild guess: I wonder if the issue might be memory / storage related? Again, not sure what version of Android you're running but with 4.x.x people have had performance issues when they have less than 1GB of free space available.

Try and use a program called Ram Manager Pro and set the VM Virtual Memory size to 256 MB, or if you know how to stop programs from starting up at boot time then try disabling all of them from starting which you know don't need to be starting up at a unless you manually click on them.

You can also try reducing the heat in your room if you're in a hot country or environment because your system might be throttling speed back to reduce the temperature of the processor

Sorry I should have said what phone it is. Samsung Galaxy II S Skyrocket (SGH-I727) Android version 4.0.4. I have 1.28GB left on the phone. I thought it could be a temperature issue but the other way around cold not hot. It hasn't been hotter than the low to middle 70s yet so I don't think that ambient temperature is an issue.

Just a little bit ago the buttons worked fine the apps opened but the audio wasn't playing through either the line out or the Bluetooth.

Have you tweaked PowerAmp advanced settings? It can stop other programs audio from playing if you put it's audio service priority to high in advanced menu
