I've developed a severe problem with my 3 month old LG-V20 running Android v7.0.
When the internal memory gets to be below 51% then at night after the phone has been on all day when I try to do any work on the phone it starts working for a few seconds then it will go to sleep and start making the sound you get when you plug the charging cable in every few seconds. When you try to wake the phone up you get the Lock Screen but if try to swipe it may go to a full screen of the Lock screen, do nothing, go to a total black screen or to the last open screen then it will shut off again.
The wallpapers may disappear it may go from total black to the home screen back to black.
The only way I can get it to maybe work correctly is to do one of the following: Reboot, turn completely off and then on in a few minutes or pull the battery.
If I do that it may work okay for a few awhile or I may have to repeat the process 3 or more times.
But the only sure way is to put it to sleep for the night and shut it off in the morning and let it sit for a couple of hours and then turn it on and it will usually work for around 7 hours before it starts acting up again.
Anyone with any ideas?
PS. I've noticed that the problem seems to be battery temperature affected.
The hotter the battery is the worse the problem is.
It starts happening when the temperature gets above 75°-80°.
