Help weird text message

I had a call about ppi which I hung up on straight away it was an automated message then 2 mins after I got a text from something called mplus saying goodbye but when I go into my messages it's not there. I'm just scared some one has hacked my phone does any one know what the text is please ?

Has happened to me too about 25 mins ago and I haven't had a ppi call or a dodgy call at all for that matter. All my messeges are now gone and if i go in and out of messages quickly they appear but have no sender names or numbers and are blank

I had this problem with the missing contacts and messages a couple if days ago and now the mplus goodbye message tonight!
Is everyone using samsung galaxy?

I've had the same message. Have an s4. Nothing lost on my phone, virus checker and malware show nothing. Just the goodbye message that disappeared...

Well thats dashed that theory lol. I have rebooted my phone and deleted all dodgy looking apps and my messages are back is suggest you do the same guys

I deleted chat which is pre installed on the fone because wen I went into app settings on the text notification it was linked to that and now wen I restart my fonr the message don't come back like it was doing before which I forgot to mention

Moved to Android Talk for easier talk with other users getting this kind of thing!
Cheers!

Personal payment insurance I think mate.. Like when a loan company adds on a monthly fee to insure your loan without properly telling you what it's for... There are companies who will sue for you to get that payment back

Hi all, Googling Mplus came up with the following :-

http://www.mplustext.com/pages/faq

which sounds just like what you have all experienced. It may be worth following up taking particular notice of Unforgiven's post - in respect of something common to you all, and reading through the posts one jumps out straight away - Samsung.

If it is this Mplus then it appears to be in total contradiction of their 'Terms and Conditions' :-

Hi Guys

Got the same text message last night.

I searched my phone for other occurrences of mplus and found a text from my service provider. It seems to be an advanced messaging service of which I copied this from the website....

Message+ is an integrated messaging service that will allow you to send and receive text messages and share your files (such as pictures, video, audio, vCards) and your location over the internet (Instant Messaging), provided you and your contacts have a Rich Communication Services (RCS) compatible client and both have data enabled. If you and/or your recipient don’t have a RCS compatible client and/or data enabled, or for any other reason the message cannot be delivered over the internet, your messages and files will be sent via normal SMS and MMS in accordance with your carrier’s plan ( save for iOS where the message will not be delivered unless both you and your recipient have RCS and are are on line).Depending on your device, Message+
