Help Weird wifi issue...

My wifi works fine at home and other places. My Android version 2 phone worked fine at work. The first time i tried to connect at work on WEP protected SID i put in the password and it connected. I also connected on the guest wifi with the user name and password. To put it in, it opened a brower window with a prompt.

The problem is i can no longer connect. The guest wireless changes user name and password every 2 weeks. It will not prompt me like it did originally.

I wanted to remove all traces of wifi settings so it will prompt me again. I tried "forget" to no avail. I have also tried running "FXR wifi fix and rescue" to wipe out the settings and it thought it worked, but it did not.

I am rooted. Does anyone know of a file to delete so i can start the wifi like when the phone was new and it was empty? Other ideas? (i don't want to do a factory reset.)

Did you try erasing your internet cache, history and cookies. I used to connect with my phone at McDonald's all the time and once in a while i would have trouble getting the agreement prompt in the web browser so had to delete cache to get it to show up and let me agree before granting me access.

Thanks. I tried that to no avail. It was a good idea though. I can't help to think that it is saved somewhere on the phone and if I could wipe it out, then it would pull up the browser and prompt me for guest user name and password. The odd thing is the other one that only requires a WEP password (which I have) won't work either. :(
