Still going through the initial set-up,hope to see others here soon! :)

Still setting up,liking the U/I,may even forgo throwing HOLO LAUNCHER HD on here for a while, has everything I want except a vertical continuous scrolling app drawer, but,I can get over that real quick, once the desktop set-up is complete.

Glad you're liking it. Just about have mine setup also. One thing I have noticed. When I go to settings to hide on screen buttons for specific apps its not hiding them like it suppose to. Also seems carrier version limits apps in split window. The. Flex ROM I was running on mg g2 didn't limit which ones. Wasn't expecting that

I don't even have that option on my T-Mobile G2,but,all my apps on the G-FLEX (so far),allow for hiding the on-screen buttons
Also using the one-handed option for that & keyboard.

This phone has already exceeded my expectations, glad I took the plunge,

Edit:

I went back over your post & see that the hidden button/split screen options on the G2 was a FLEX ROM feature.

Got a link to the FLEX ROM? I may start to tinker w/the G2 now that the FLEX is my daily driver.

I figured out what it was. I had dynamic notifications installed and accessibility checked and that was causing it. Unchecked it and works fine. Will hunt down the link to the flex ROM for you

Looks like one awesome ROM, mighta just stayed w/the G2 if I'd given this a shot.

Not looking back whatsoever,actually looking forward to a FLEX2,w/stereo speakers/64GB on-board & 1080HD or better.

Colors are excellent, but, it definitely isn't as sharp as the G2 or NOTE 3. Not a deal breaker & shouldn't be a deterrent to taking a look, as some bloggers would steer one away.

Overall, I'd give this a 9.25 on a 1-10 scale.
Everything works well, the U/I is quite polished/intuitive, much better than the stock GOOGLE EXPERIENCE on the MOTO G.
Phone calls/audio/BLUETOOTH/screen quality/battery life are top-notch.
Only reason I don't rate it a 10 is the resolution could be sharper & no SD CARD, but, admittedly, I'm nit-picking here.

GREAT PHONE, I'd actually like to see this form-factor on a smaller scale (5.2"-5.5") as well.

Im really loving this phone. do not miss my sam note or sony z, althought i wish the flex was water proof lol.

Great phone so far and im also not sure if im going to change the laucher or leave it.

I'm keeping the stock U/I, for a couple weeks anyway.Been using HOLO LAUNCHER HD for a long time, wouldn't mind if LG bought it & incorporated it into their U/I.

Another added touch to complete the desktop is the app ROUNDR, if you like a bit of a radius on your corners. Together w/the hidden button option, it gives the desktop a nice polished/clean look, especially on landscape.

I agree. No regrets getting this phone. Its a 6 in but doesn't feel like that big of a phone. I had a z ultra briefly which had only a slightly larger screen but felt way way bigger than this. Ended up returning it

Ditto when compared to the NOTE 3.The edges were too crisp & was uncomfortable to hold after a few minutes. The G FLEXs' back cover is rounded enough to rest comfortably in your hand w/o having to grip it too tightly, even though it is a bit wider than the NOTE 3.

For the reason stated above, the only case I plan on using is the OEM LG Vest Case. Got one on the way from S.Korea (via e-Bay), ETA 2/27-3/4.

In the meantime, I'll have an inexpensive slim TPU Case to use, it's out for delivery today.

I hope I dont miss having an SD card...as far as screen res, I wont have mine until tonight, but, even though most reviews bitch about it, all the REAL users on the web say its no biggie, so I will see..

Okay, so here come some major bad points i have seen.

Is it me or does this screen have a bad case of burn in worse than any plasma screen i have ever seen? It does go away fast but its kind of annoying.

also sometimes when watching videos in full screen from min screen, it shows these section lines very faintly, making me think this isn't 1 full screen or three sections put together to make 1 screen.

over all i still like the look and feel.

It's there,you're not seeing things.

This is probably one of the best examples of why one should put a phone through the paces before purchasing,or,at least, before the return w/no questions asked period expires.

I'll also add that the screen isn't as crisp as say,an LG G2 or NOTE 3.
For myself these two shortcomings do not detract from my enjoyment of the phone one bit, especially the burn-in you speak of.
Unless I'm looking for it,I don't notice, but, admittedly may add to the lack of sharpness in the screen viewing experience.

I've found that having the brightness set at anywhere north of 50% takes care of both issues to a great degree & shows off the best properties of the screen, the colors & accuracy of such.

So far, so good. Moving in, waiting for case to arrive. I wanted an Optimus G, but AT&T said there was about a month wait. My last phone was a Pantech Pocket, so this is quite an upgrade for me.

Hope to see a review of your case when it arrives.

I've went overboard in that dept. {nothing new there}. I'll be posting a review of the OEM LG G FLEX VEST CASE (which just finally arrived) in the case thread momentarily........

So, Quick question... There is a little door on the right side of my Flex, my downloaded manual says it is the door for a micro SD. Doesn't seem to open, manual mentioned a special tool, or long pin. Didn't really want to stick a conductive pin in the little hole.
Comments?

That door is for a SIM CARD. Unless you have multiple phones or a defective SIM CARD, you probably will never need to access it.

Your phone should have came w/a SIM CARD removal tool, basically, just a small pin w/the letter G as a grip.

SD MAID rocks, even on unrooted devices.
BTW, what method did you use to root?
