Root Well, now that THAT's done...

Finally got the courage to flash cm7, and it's pretty cool. I made two backups of my old rom for good measure, so i figure if i run in to warranty issues i can revert to that or the stock mt4g files.

but my question, what now? what should/could i do with the new rom?

I would just enjoy it.

When I was flashing Cyanogen roms for my old MyTouch 3G, I was constantly tweaking, trying to get better performance, and it was futile on a phone with a 192 MB of RAM.

Now that I have a MyTouch 4G with 768 MB of RAM, I find I can just use the Cyanogen 7 RC 2 and not have to worry about constantly tweaking it. I've even found I don't need to hit Back instead of Home. There's enough RAM to handle all my apps.

I guess that makes sense. Been having fun with the cyanogenmod settings and themes and whatnot. I guess after coming so far from stock in such a short amount of time is weird when there's an abrupt stop.

i went back to icedglacier. i like htc sense. especially the ig modified sense that replaces the stupid favs button with an internets launcher.
