Not!

Decided to factory reset as the phone hasn't been playing nice for a while. Due an upgrade but nothing out there at the moment tickles my fancy, so will probably wait for the new Nexus in September (unless the M8 carries on playing silly buggers then I might go P9+)

No option came up to restore from backup so just signed in and now in the process of restoring all the apps, trying to remember what my home screen looked like etc

On doing some research (better late than never I suppose) - have a look in the Google Drive settings - not under Backup & Reset where you'd expect it to be and everything is ticked, but under Manage Backup - make sure that there is something in there as well
