Texas Fertilizer Plant Explosion Sends 180 to Hospitals, Levels Homes, 5 to 15 Feared Dead - ABC News

More devastating news this week. The explosion was so big that it registered as a 2.1 on the richter scale.
They are treating the investigation as a crime until they find out what caused it for sure.

The blast was felt up to 50 miles away, and it brought down houses and shattered windows in a 5 block radius.

My heart goes out to those affected by this blast. I hope they are able to find the missing firemen and anyone else that is missing at this time

Amazing how powerful the blast was. Let's hope this was a tragic accident and not an act of sabotage.

It is hard to watch the news this week. I was watching and they had confirmed that 10 of the volunteer firefighters are deceased. And the death toll continues to rise as each day goes by and more debris is cleared.

Those firefighters are heros, they gave their lives to save people in danger. May they rest in peace, and may their families find peace in mourning.
