We've Got Some Unfortunate News

The StormDroid Team regrets to inform you that we are officially "shutting our doors" for the LG Ally.

While we loved being a part of the community and providing you with the best ROMs we could, we no longer have devices to develop with. Some of them were broken, some were handed down to younger siblings, some were sold when we were strapped for cash, and some were simply lost.

We wish you all luck with your remaining time with the Ally, and also to those of you with newer devices. Most of the team has moved on to the FNV community of the Galaxy Nexus. Read more about that, here.

The Team would like to thank death2all110 for all his help, and for hosting the StormDroid site. We would also like to thank rg0cal for his help on our ROMs, and wish him luck in development for the Motorola RAZR and the LG Spectrum. We also thank any and all LG Ally developers that helped us get into it, and wish them luck in their future endeavors.

With some of the best rooms (finished or not) “left room for community been developers to learn and finish"

Phandroid usually doesn't have room to represent something but us, we gave the world awesome roms for the ally no other community could provide.
Its been awesome.

Like INM said above, myself is working on the Droid razr and the Lg Spectrum, some kindle fire deving and the accasional app on the market place.

Well damnit Jim, here I had my hopes up after having to reactivate my Ally. Still, my flashaholic side will have to live on in the Nexus 7.

i shall perform a 21 gun salute to the ally i remember like it was yesterday, when it was only velocity. Good days, good times. i realize there really is nothing else we can do for the little phone that could. but hey, be happy! we accomplished what was only dreams at first. Thank you to everyone that made the ally, the phone it is today!. I moved on to Droid 3 development, i work behind the scenes, i have a project that is coming along rather nicely

One last thing I do still have an Ally and would like to still use it. Where is a link to the latest greatest Stable Daily driver Rom, that has been produced for this bad boy?
