My friend told me about talkatone. I downloaded it but it said that I need google play services to use it. I've been warned about them. What should I do?

I looked at the Talkatone site. They have a link to the Apple Store and the Google Play Store for a download. Where did you get the download? Is that what you mean by needing Google Play Services?

I've heard about google and what they really do. It doesn't seem right that they get all that information about people and use it any way they want and nobody can do anything about it. Isn't there a better substitute?

no idea. i only use google photo's. there are many different camera and photo editing apps that you can try.
