What am i doing wrong gps trigger

I created a profile to trigger an auto sms to wife when i arrive at work between certain hours. GPS location is set 200 meters around work location and between 15:00-22:00 but when i turned on phone at home, which is about 35 miles from gps set location, it sent the auto sms. What am i doing wrong?

I have found Wi-Fi NEar to be much more reliable. Plug in your office SSID ...

This one turns Wi0Fi on in my phone if I am near the SSID.

Used to do wifi near, worked on my note3, but stopped working properly when switched to 6p. Wont trigger wifi near with screen off, but as soon as open wifi settings it will send it. Not suree if marsmallow or 6p has issues pinging wifi with screen off.

I always found GPS to be rather unreliable for things like this.

I may try near cell tower location. Im just wondering why ot triggered it at my house instead of specified gps location.
