What amazes me...?...how the world is becoming smaller at an exponential if not geometric rate because of the internet and social networking services like twitter. You can use it to talk to people on the other side of the world, organize protests, twitter arty coordinates, whatever. Countries like China and Iran won't be able to block information for much longer.

The say you can tweet an earthquake to someone and warn them of it before it hits depending on how far away they are. There was an xkcd comic on it a while back, don't have the link though.
