Any clues if you pull down the notification bar? You could hold click on the mystery notification and goto all info from there.

Oh, yeah... nor do I. I bet someone will.

It looks similar to a hotspot icon. You might check your daughter's phone and see if hotspot is enabled. If not, sorry, I haven't a clue.

Go through her apps that are in her app drawer and see if any match that symbol

I have no clue but it looks like a game that uses the accelerometer like one of those ball tilting maze games. Just a random guess... hope you get to the bottom of it!

What device does she have? If it is a kid specific device brand, that could narrow it down.

You mention the apps you let her have, does this mean you have access to her phone or Gmail account?

If so you can fire up the play store from her phone and look in My Apps and Games and the Installed tab to see if it's listed.

If her phone is locked and you have access to her email you can log into the play store via a browser to do the same.

Sadly I don't recognise the icon.
