Is that all is needed for not to work on tapa?

Word

the first time Nikki sneaks in to see the sculpture, at that moment she realizes everything she knows is wrong. It struck me as an extremely powerful moment, what that sculpture meant. I know corny, lol, but there you have it.

Yeah, apparently tapatalk doesn't recognise lowercase ones for some reason.

Lol, my reaction to her revelation was more extreme relief that she FINALLY saw sense.

1Q84 - Haraki Murakami

This guy is a freaking genius.
I'm also reading 'On Photography', by Susan Sontag.
I'm a Photography geek, what can I say?

Lol, still. The place was depressing! The sculpture meant so much... I was REALLY into that book.

I recently started up the Harry Potter series again... on number 3.

It is what it is.... I'm probably too old to be reading a book featuring 11 year old kids, but whatever.... they're not bad. *shrug*

And yes, I know they aren't 11 in book 3. ;) :p

When I finish 1Q84 I'm gonna start on book 2 too.
I bought the whole saga, collector edition. Call me fangirl, but I love HP.

I read through 'em every couple of years, I think I read through the whole series in just over a week before the last movie came out.... ;) Good times!

The only bummer being that I've now read them enough that I'm almost too familiar with the story... Last time I re-read them I had forgotten a lot, not this time. :D

Aha, you're worse than me. I'm a fangirl, but not that hard :D

I'd like to check out 1Q84. It's supposed to be epic. Is it hard to get into?

Damn, that blows. It would be worth it to play them, getting a Xbox. Great story
Totally agreed. Just buy a cheap original Xbox on eBay or something. You could probably get the console and both KOTORs for $150 or less.

Heh, I do that with a different book series, Robert Jordan/Brandon Sanderson's The Wheel of Time series. I usually re-read 'em all before a new one is released. The upcoming book in January is slated to be the last one. End of an era.

Currently reading: The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson, Book 1 of a planned ten-book series called The Stormlight Archive. If you're into high fantasy, this is strongly recommended. Not for the faint of heart, though, it's 1252 pages.

Next up will be a genre switch, I've been reading a lot of fantasy lately. I've got a couple political thrillers I've been meaning to read, I'll probably do one of those. The names are escaping me at the moment, though.

Right now you can get them both on PC via steam for closer to $10. I had a quick look at the requirements for kotor 2 and they are very low (1Ghz single core processor, 256MB Ram, 32mb graphics card, directx 9 sound card), so I'd definitely recommend doing it that way unless your PC is fairly old.

Good call. I've never been much of a PC gamer, I've always preferred consoles, so I didn't even think of doing that. Definitely a better alternative for lowest cost possible.

Finished reading "Neutrino"

Now 100 pages + in

Higgs - The Invention and discovery of the "god particle" by Jim Baggott

I am currently reading a thread on the Phandroid Android forum, titled, “What are you currently reading?”.

I'm reluctant to paint myself as a postmodern pedantic but you were actually writing a post in the thread entitled "What are you currently reading?" ;)

Anyway...

I'm currently reading The Migraine Hotel by Luke Kennard, which is a collection of narrative poetry hybrid short pieces of writing that are quite hard to categorize but I'm liking so far. Well actually, I'm not - I'm writing a post in a thread...

Currently reading the Sovereign Stone by David a Wells. It is book 2 in the Sovereign of the Seven Isle series. If you are into wheel of time nd sword of truth it is a good series so far.

Night Angel since you are named after the series from Brent Weeks, have you read Perfect Shadow a short story about the beginning of Durzo Blint.

Started with book 6 today. Probably won't get through this one as fast as I was hoping though, got a lot of non-sense to do tomorrow (and this week)...

Oh well.

I have, (of course, lol) and I met him. :)

I asked specifically about that book, told him it was simply to damn short, lol.

He said eventually he would go back and write a real history of that time period.

Can't wait for him to finish his current series so he can go back to Kylar and durzo

I am waiting for a certain CEO 's book I think we all know who I am talking about

You think wrong :)

After seeing the Jack Reacher trailer, I seriously thought it was a Saturday Night Live spoof at first. Who could possibly be intimidated by Tom Cruise? Wouldn't you just crack up laughing? What were they smoking, and where can I get some?

That is the best response to that trailer I have seen!

Currently reading Zero Day by David Baldacci, who I started reading because Lee Child listed him as an author he did not like.
