What are you drinking right now?

Sunday is a coffee day....

And for some reason, the google adbots are showing me coffee related adverts all over the site...

(might be time to have another cup....)

Every day is coffee day! I didn't used to drink the stuff, but now I think I'm addicted.

Beer Drinker Pro Tip:

Walgreens "Living Solutions" brand bottle stoppers work with Corona Extra 24 FL. OZ. bottles but not Sam Adams, Miller, or Stells Atrois, similar sized bottles.

Coffee during the day (Lavazza Gran Selezione, really good), but these fall evenings bring out Irish whiskey and single malts. ;)
  • Black Bush
  • Talisker
  • Macallan 10 or 12
Had a friend recommend that Jameson one where they mature it in stout casks. Haven't had the nerve to give it a go yet.

Macallan 12 is mighty tasty, for a scotch. Me, I'm a bourbon kinda gal and Maker's 46 hits the spot. Simply delightful.
How is it compared to the regular Makers Mark? I had that and wasn't impressed...it seemed (to me) to have not enough warmth or distinction.

Generally, if we're talking bourbon I like Jack and Jim.

It's regular Maker's that is then aged in/with charred oak staves. That gives it a fuller, smokey (not too much though) flavor that seems to bring everything up a level.

Now, here's the thing with bourbon, some (not most though) are made with a higher wheat mash, Maker's is one. I am definitely a "wheater", you may not be since you like Jack and Jim.

Darjeeling Tea. Fresh brewed and over ice. It's the greatest black tea you will ever taste.

Big fan of Darjeeling.. Its not my everyday drink, its reserved for those times when i feel like a treat.

Never had it cold over ice though... now thats an idea worth trying
