First of all, i'm kind of confused.

I know that there are 2 types of Samsung Galaxy S II's out there, if i'm not mistaken.

I have the one with a model number of SPH-D710....

Now, assuming i am in the right forum i will ask my question.

Which apps can i get rid of without causing ANY kind of problems? I want to install titanium backup and "Freeze" them if i cannot uninstall them myself.

Please do not take in to consider which apps i will or will not use. I can determine that whenever i freeze them. Unless freezing one app, will effect another. Then that might want to be mentioned....

I'm Super EXCITED!!! I just upgraded from a shitty carrier "MetroPCS" with an awesome phone, the LG Esteem.... But i think i'm going to enjoy my Sprint phone much more. Espcially since they're transitioning from 4G WiMax to the real deal 4GLTE

Is it just me.... Or is the community just not as active for this phone as others? I had an LG Esteem and when i posted a question it got answered damn-near the same hour almost every time.

Anyway, I am rooted, and I am will be using Titanium Backup Pro to freeze apps that i do not need, but use up system resources.

Thanks to whoever replies.... If i get one, that is.
If someone could answer why support is so limited for this phone that wouuld be cool... i'm curious as well why this bad azz phone doesn't have thousands of threads and users like my LG Esteem. Their are roms for this phone and everything. Just not many people responding to questions.

Is it because ICS is about to be out so people are kind of like, on stand by?
Maybe its because its an expensive phone and not many E4GT users??

Anyway. Someones input would be nice.

Hi there. It is a relativelly new phone, so I don't think a lot of folks really know much about it yet. Your phone alredy rooted? LOL.. I stay away from rooting like a plague, but that's just me ( I don't want to ruin my phone) I had an Optimus V with Virgin Mobile and stayed away from rooting that one as well... I was kind of active in those threads until I dropped the bomb that I left VM and came to Sprint. All of a sudden I have not heard from anyone there... To be honest with you, my feelings are kinda hurt, but I'll get over it...

I recently downloaded some crap I think I really don't need. But I will figure out how to get rid of it (without rooting, as I think is stuff that belongs to a stock ap)

I recently read an article that said that the SGSII Epic G4 will be getting ICS, they just don't know when...
Good luck, TC:)

Yea, i've rooted the device. I always root my android devices. As long as your using the guides for your EXACT device, the chances of the device breaking or "Bricking" is small. Its been tested several times before the developers put it on the forums for us to download. It voids the warranty, BUT ONLY WHILE ITS STILL ROOTED. If you put it back to stock, they can't tell that at one point in time it was rooted. This information is coming from both MetroPCS and Sprint carriers.

They will probably be able to see if you've flashed another ROM on it though and if they see that, it will void your warranty for sure.

Can't wait till people get with it and start beefing up the support for this phone!!

Thanks for your input =)
