What clock is everyone using?

I just got my GS3 with Android 4.1.2 on it and I am looking for a better clock than the stock Accuweather one. I have tried a nixie tube clock, minimalistic text, beautiful widgets, retro clock, and a couple others but they all seem to be having the same problem. They don't keep time. The time is set when I first add the widget but then never moves forward like the widget is disconnected or something. Minimalistic text worked for a little while but then quit and never came back. It just said 2:08am all day.

Any advice to make these work? Am I doing something wrong? Or, is there a clock you guys would recommend?

I'll check that one out. I looked at the app manager and as near as I can tell they're running on the phone not on the card, in the app manager it shows memory usage in the main memory and zero on the card.

Thats strange. The clock widgets are getting their time from the system clock. As BRAIN says, if they were on SD card that would cause problems but youre on an s3 so i dont understand it.
Does the system time stay correct (lil clock at top right)?

Are you rooted or running any battery saving apps? (Total guess)

Thanks for the suggestions. The system time at the top of the screen is always right. When the widget clocks stop advancing the top clock keeps going and they don't match. I am not rooted, totally stock, purchased the phone from a Sprint store less than 2 weeks ago.

Tried digi clock widget, it has the same problem.

Tried beautiful widgets and discovered its not just clocks. The beautiful widgets battery widget also doesn't advance and doesn't match the battery percent at the top of the phone.

Tried minimalistic text and the wifi network and such never change.

Its like all the widgets are disconnected from the system info after the initial set up.

I have not downloaded any task killers so unless Sprint loads one stock I don't think I have one.

Facepalm.

The only clock widget I have tried that keeps accurate time is Analog Clock Widget by smsrobot. It works, but its just an analog clock, no weather, nothing else but it does work. What would make it work when the others don't? Weird.

OK, so I think I have it straightened out. Its been almost a day now and my Beautiful Widgets Battery Gauge and my Minimalistic Text clock and system info have been right the whole time and they update if you watch them. How exciting is that? I've been watching the minutes pass on a smart phone clock to see if the top clock and the app clock match LOL.

I did Google search which led me here:
http://androidforums.com/internatio...4-real-tester-clock-widgets-not-updating.html

and the last post which was the solution goes here:
http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2/643316-widgets-not-updating.html#post5178147

So basically I think either the weather channel widget or the analog clock widget was blocking my other widgets from system info and I had previously deleted them to see if that helped but I didn't reboot the phone in between. So the secret seems to be to delete what you've added recently that's probably the conflict, then REBOOT and see if that fixes it. Its a process of elimination.

Thanks to everyone here for their input and help.

Right now i'm using Transparent Clock Widget. It looks great, it's fully customizable, and has the weather built in.:)
