beautiful widgets has literally thousands of skins, so I wouldn't be suprised if it was.

I just looked at the one from the optimus and it is slightly different, it probably is a skin from BW

Nah that is the LG widget, usable only in the LG launcher.

No go look at the LG clock the numbers are tilted in this one they aren't unless it is just a varient of the LG clock although the picture was taken from the Evo section at XDA so I assume the user was an Evo user.

No. i dont think you need to be rooted. I may be wrong. But its an apk file. Install it and find out.

I downloaded and installed it, and its a thing of beauty! However, it seems to come packaged with something called
