Root What did you do first now that you have root?

... But can you tell what busybox version where you on when you did the v6 supercharge and did you use the lastest version of v6 supercharge script ?

Your best bet is to go and get the Busybox Installer app by jrummy off the Play Store. It's free and will tell you what version of busybox you currently have as well as let you downgrade to an older version, it's 1.1.8.2 for the v6 Supercharger script if I am not mistaken, I haven't used it in a while so I don't remember but read the OP from whatever thread you downloaded the script from, it'll tell you what version of Busybox you need. Hope this helps.

What does that do ?

V6 supercharger is a script you use on rooted phones. It is basically auto memory management, it makes your phone quite a bit more responsive.

The busybox included with our prerooted tar file is 1.17.1. It works, no need to upgrade or downgrade. I used the latest v6 script yes.

Would anyone like to share some quadrant scores after bloat is remived and v6 supercharge?

This was my first run in antutu since root. Subsequent benchmarks yielded 3k+ scores but I decided to post my very first run to be more honest :D

Not bad for stock and no overclock.

What did you set your v6 superchager on?

I'm fiddling with the settings, I will likely run custom settings like I do my other devices, but right now I'm using setting 7, which is super UL. No adverse reactions thus far, multitasking is fine, nothing closing when I don't want it to. Runs nice and fast.

Check this out.. my stock rooted attain dogged my over clocked nook color hands down lol... God we need an overclock kernal.. the attain will be pretty beastly for a midrange phone..

This screen shot is my nooks score. Attain got 3k+ as seen in my previous post.

Before u run the script did u click scull and crossbones for root? Its just below where it says run after you load the script.

i would like to first thank all who have made the root to attain possible!
and next i would like to ask if anyone could show me how to overclock, remove the bloat, and add this Supercharger on there or at least direct me to the forums with that information entitled!
Thank you once again for the hard work!

^ Overclock by getting SetCPU, but there are currently no kernels to 'really' overclock it. just default max.
Remove BLOAT by using Root explorer or titanium backup.
You can get Root explorer free on some Sharing sites.. or buy it . If your using Root explorer, navigate to /system/app and delete all the metro crap. Make sure it is R/W at the top. After your done removing metrobloat, Make sure it is R/O, and reboot. There is a list around of apps to delete.
Same goes to titanium backup. Get it on the market and uninstall metro stuff. I'd use root explorer since its 2x as faster.
To get V6 SuperCharger, go here:

By the beginning of the post he should say where the latest files are. To use them download script manager from market, make sure V6 supercharger is in your sdcard. When opening Script manager for first time make sure u browse as root. make .pdf file (the supercharger.) Run as root. the script will then 'talk' to you how it works. Fin!

Right on bro, 3k is impressive for a stock midrange. Once we can overclock, I think its gonna be a beast. I have high expectations with the attain.

We have the same snapdragon chipset as the LG esteem and PG has that damn thing overclocked to over 2ghz. They can hit mid 4000s to almost 5000 over there on antutu. Granted, the snapdragon processor bumps back to 1.3 ghz when it gets too warm, but geez that would be sweet.

why do you think you have a snapdragon?

i am actually curious because every time i have seen samsung harfdware i have seen the typical samsung kernel format (zimage with initramfs compiled in) yet with qualcomm/tegra chipsets its boot.img like the prevail/admire.

im more inclined to believe its a slightly upgraded hummingbird that was in the indulge :/

you guys have dual initramfs zimage format which is only found (previously) on the sgs2 variants that had samsung chipsets.
