Help what do the diff signal stregths mean? I see "H" and "E" no "3g"

Ok, so I just unlocked my Rogerts HTC magic, and I entered the APN's I found on one the android sites, but I only see an "H" and sometimes an "E" am I supposed to see a 3g?

You will see 3G when your phone is in an area that has 3G service ... provided in your settings you dont have just 2G selected ...

hrm... all I see is just H all the time

Nope ... Heard it where ? Check with your Carrier ...

And did you check your settings ?

I just set up my APN from what someone told me to set it to for android.

I am on AT&T with a Rogers HTC magic

Think you might have answered your own question ... ??? I dont think the 3G radio for Magic is the same as AT&T's 3G !!

I just want to make sure from different soruces, cause this is my first unlocked phone and kind of paranoid you know haha.
