What do we think of Jellybean?

So, we waited what felt like an eternity to get JB on our S3's, what do we think. I'll be brief:-

Pros

Smoother transitions (silky swiping)
Google NOW (simply brilliant)
Blocking Mode (very useful)
Better notification (preview emails)
Quicker (less lock ups than ICS)
More Widgets
Improved Calender
Internet Browser brightness issue fixed

Cons

App Compatibility albeit that not Google's fault
Grey notification bar (I want a black one!)

Feel free to post your own thoughts....

Battery life not as good as ics also benchmark scores not as good quite a bit lower on antutu.
I do like google now but still feel that svoice works better for things like opening apps but google now is far better for internet searches.

Google Now is purely for Internet searches, it can replace s voice as it's not shell integrated...

My battery life is about the same as ics. Benchmarks are irrelevant.

I'm rooted so I DO have a black status bar. In fact, it looks vanilla android.

Help a lady out from America who's still waiting for her Jellybean update.... How do you access Google Now on the S3? On my GNex I can do that Home button swipe up. What's the equivalent on the S3?

If you aren't rooted and still on ICS you don't have Google now yet. Its jb and above.

If you're just asking for future reference, I imagine its very similar :D

I am asking for future reference. I don't see how it can work the same as the Gnex though. The S3 is a hardware Home button. I can't swipe up with it. If I press once I get the Home Screen, twice I get S Voice. So how do I activate Google Now on Jellybean? What are you lucky European folks finding?

I believe it comes up with your recent apps after long pressing the home button

In the UK on 3 network. Got the Jellybean update automatically this morning without plugging into Kies. I'm still playing but love it so far! Just amazed that 3 got it so quick! Have had to wait so long for any kind of update from them!

this is what everyone has been dieing for them to release?? they hardly changed anything lol

JB is definitely smoother, and browsing seems faster. Google Now is no real use to me really. One major issue, after the JB update my battery is draining like a gud un! Can't seem to work out why, anyone seeing the same?
