What do you think does Google Chrome have a future?

I know I have asked this question, maybe in a slightly different form. But if you had to guess will the chrome book become a mainstream operating system. The price is so reasonable, do you think the future could hold maybe a fused version with maybe Android? I have been thinking of buying one? Does anyone know is Chrome all keyboard based or does it use touch also? I am getting into this all touch based systems. Or do I save my money for a Note or Tab say five a few years down the road?
