Android Question

I was wondering if anyone could help me. My husband is supposedly getting a group message but it doesn't look like any group message I have ever seen. The others in the group all have Androids with Sprint. My husband has an iphone with Verizon. I need to know how group messages work with Sprint and what an Android group message looks like. Can anyone help me with that?
