what does HTC SENSE Clear Data actually clear

What exactly does HTC Sense Clear Data actually clear? That may be a solution to reverting back to 5 homescreen pages instead of 7 without having to do a factory reset.
Just curious as to what I am going to mess up? Will i just have to personalize the homescreen again, put widgets up, reconnect to fb, twittier, myfaves, etc... It's not going remove any 3rd party apps, just make me creat new widgets, etc..??

Thanks for your help

It will not remove any 3rd party apps from your phone. It will reset you wallpapers and all your homescreens to default. I don't think it will clear the data from any of the HTC apps, but I'm not completely sure on that one. But what are you saying about 5 vs 7 homescreens? HTC Sense has seven homescreens and there's no way of changing that without downloading a different home app and/or switching ROM's.

I'm using Launcher Pro so don't use any of the Sense widgets, scenes etc. However, it says HTC Sense has 1.71MB of data stored. If I do 'Clear data' will this adversely affect anything (e.g. any of the underlying Sense stuff that's still use even with the UI turned off (contacts, Facebook/Fickr integration etc), or is this particular app purely the desktop UI?

I did the clear and it did reset the homescreen icons. I did have to reenter my location for the weather app and otherapps like that. Other then that I have not noticed anything different.
